East Midlands Cyber Summit 2026 is filling up fast – and only 30% of available places remain.

Small business owners looking to strengthen cyber defences need to act quickly to secure one of the remaining seats at the region’s first cyber summit.

The event brings together more than 100 business leaders, managers, and digital experts for a full day of expert insights, practical learning, and new connections.

What to expect at the Summit

Delegates will gain from expert-led sessions, delivered by national cyber security leaders who will reveal the real methods that hackers use to target small businesses.

Guests will also hear practical, actionable strategies that can be implemented immediately to better protect their organisations. And they will explore real-world case studies shared by local companies who have successfully boosted their cyber resilience.

It means that anyone applying for one of the 30 remaining funded tickets will benefit from tangible examples of how businesses in the East Midlands are staying ahead of digital threats.

Attendees will also gain cutting-edge insights into new innovations – and discover funded support programmes which are available.

Ways to build resilience

A significant portion of the day is dedicated to face-to-face networking. This gives delegates the opportunity to connect directly with industry experts from De Montfort University and across the EMCSC network, meet Innovate UK programme leaders, and build relationships with regional business champions who can offer resilience support.

With the cyber threat landscape constantly evolving – and SMEs increasingly falling victim to scammers – the East Midlands Cyber Summit is a fully-funded opportunity to understand how and why cyber attacks happen to regional small businesses.

The East Midlands Cyber Summit takes place on 12 February 2026 from 9am to 4pm at The Venue on Western Boulevard in Leicester.

Registration is completely free for East Midlands businesses but – with only 30 places now remaining – you will need to move quickly to reserve your seat here.

The East Midlands Cyber Summit is delivered by East Midlands Cyber Security Cluster, funded by Innovate UK, and supported by De Montfort University. It’s part of the EMCSC’s wider CyberGrowth programme.
